Lovrenc na Dravskem polju is a village in the Kidričevo municipality in northeastern Slovenia. Traditionally the entire area was part of the Lower Styria region. It is now included with the rest of the municipality into the Podravje statistical region.[2]
The local parish church, from which the settlement gets its name, is dedicated to Saint Lawrence and belongs to the Roman Catholic Archdiocese of Maribor. It was built in 1414 on the site of an earlier church, first mentioned in written documents dating to 1323. Part of a late 12th century structure is incorporated in the sanctuary.[3]
